[XMFC/HP] sing, slow it down [Charles/Erik, Charles/Emma, others, PG-13] (9/9)

Title: sing, slow it down
Pairing: Charles Xavier/Erik Lehnsherr, Charles Xavier/Emma Frost, others to be advised
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Outside the Slytherin dungeons, most people thought quite well of Charles Xavier. He was an exceptional student, a little reserved but impeccably polite to everyone, no matter their House or station, and never put on airs unlike the heirs of certain other old magical families.

In fact, his fellow students were occasionally to be heard wondering aloud how the Sorting Hat had placed him in the snake pit at all.
The year is 1949, and Erik Lehnsherr's in his seventh year at Hogwarts, as yet unaware that his world is about to change.
Notes: this series consists of non-linear ficlets which are mostly self-contained. Therefore, I hesitate to label it a work in process, even though there will be quite a few more updates.

1949: Charles and Erik talk appointments on the Hogwarts Express.
1947: Charles' sister arrives at Hogwarts during their fifth year.
1949: Charles and Emma give the Slytherin first years an unconventional welcome.
1943: How Charles met Emma.
1949: Charles and Erik meet with their respective heads of house.
1947: Charles has a frank conversation with Dumbledore.
1944: A little backstory about Charles, Emma, and Tom Marvolo Riddle.
1947: Charles gets to know Armando a little better.
1949: Erik's first evening back proves eventful.

Looking for a one-shot (a 5 times charles/erik fic?)

Hopefully this is allowed, but I've been searching for this one particular fic in a while, and I haven't managed to find it yet. I'm not exactly sure if it was a 5times fic, but I remember it was set after the movie's events, meaning Charles is paralyzed by that point. And struggling to deal with how everyone thinks of him; but Erik is the only one not afraid to get angry with him, and at one point Charles is lifted, which makes Erik furious and tells them to stop. Something like that. I think it was posted on the kink meme? Anyway, I'd much appreciate it if anyone knew what fic I was talking about, because I can't bloody find it!

(no subject)

Sorry, I have NO idea how to tag this properly, but in any case:

If anybody needs help with German words, sentences, habits, culture, whatever, just hit me, okay? I'm a native speaker and I'm probably able to help you with that.

I know that some others already offered, but I thought it might be good to have one person more. ;)

You can either e-mail me (my address should be shown at my LJ profile) or PM me on LJ.

(Just remember that I might be in a different time zone than you, so it's unfortunately possible that really urgent request can't be answered right away. Sorry in advance.)

The Third Annual Nerve Awards for Love & Sex on Film

Michael Fassbender in X-Men: First Class

This must just be Michael Fassbender's year. It's one thing to be sexy in a film where you play a sexy sex addict who has sexy sex with all kinds of sexy sex-women. It's another to pull it off in a film where you a) have no sex and b) are also required to wear this ridiculous helmet. (Granted, Fassbender doesn't actually have to put the thing on until act three, but you knew it was coming the whole time, didn't you?) Never mind. Fassbender commits fully to the part, and his tragic friendship — more than friendship? — with James McAvoy's Professor X has a libidinal intensity that no actual mutant-on-mutant coupling could match. — Peter Smith

Runners-up: George Clooney in The Ides of March, Lea Seydoux in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Alexander Skarsgard in Straw Dogs, Jennifer Aniston in Horrible Bosses, Jon Hamm in Sucker Punch, Charlize Theron in Young Adult
